Jarhead

Written By: Beast

Just saw it, and it's fucking sick. Considering that there is a long tradition of war movies for it to live up to, the fact that it isn't a monumental flop is a big statement. Best movie about the Iraq war. Period.

Bad ass, I was wondering if that was going to be good.

This fucking movie has got me so pumped at becoming a Marine (I feel like some five-year-old kid talking about astronauts), it's a little scary. I've been reading military stories for the entire night.

This is by far the best thing I've come across in awhile

Just watched the movie.

Good movie except for the last 15 minutes.

I really loved it.

Needed killing (with regret) from the main characters

I saw it last night and came away with mixed feelings. I liked it, but really never figured out what it was about. I thought the plot was very weak, I never figured out what was Troy's demon was. It felt to me like we followed around this unit, but they never went anywhere. Maybe that was the point. Anyway, the references to Apocalypse Now and The Deer Hunter were very good, and I think this movie falls into step with those two films. More or less great military films that try and portray the insanity that becomes the men who fight.
